The Super Buccaneer was designed by Ben Shereshaw in 1939 as a scaled up version of the 1937 Buccaneer.  Similar in looks and structure to the Falcon it is a large and graceful well engineered model. The fuselage is half planked adding to the graceful lines and the model's size make it clearly visable at altitude. The kit features pre cut wing ribs formers, tips shapes, balsa sheet and stripwood, hardwood and block balsa parts, undercarriage wire, hardware pack and full size plans. Everything needed for the basic airframe of the model. As drawn on the plans the wing is one piece but this could be adapted by the builder to become 2 piece. As with many of our larger designs the Super Buccaneer is a firm favourite with model builders in the USA and Japan.
